Terminology used in LORI
Terminology has varied throughout LORI depending on the time at which an entry was created and editorial suggestions at that time. This explains for example why the terms such as mullerian, müllerian and Mullerian all exist in LORI. As far as if possible, those terms will changed and will be standardized in LORI According to the Chicago manual of style.As from December 19th 2016, the following terminology will be employed (a list that will grow):
Eponyms: all in lower case and hyphenated where appropriate.
SRY, not SRy or SR-y etc
Testis, not testicle
Vulva (plural), not vulvar or vulval
